Originally formed by the Village Board as the “Diversity Committee” in September 2020, its volunteer members agreed to rename the panel as the “Cultural Conversations Committee.” The Village Board approved the name change in January 2021.
A regular meeting schedule has not yet been determined. The committee’s next business meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.

The committee’s mission is to create a space where residents of the community can convene and discuss how the village can improve inclusion for people of all races, nationalities, genders, abilities and income levels that call the Village of Williamsville their home.
With a goal of ensuring that the village welcomes input from people of all walks of life, the committee endeavors to make sure everyone’s ideas, concerns and issues are represented in the community’s growth and evolution. The committee plans to work on creative programs to engage and educate residents and any member of the community who may visit the Village of Williamsville, in addition to village staff members and volunteers.
Members of the committee include Yonina Foster, Nick Gianmusso, Trey Measer, Djuana Munn, Raquel (Kelly) Stark, and Michele Richter, who is chairperson.
