Did you know that the Village of Williamsville owns a historic building that dates back to the early 1800’s? The Meeting House, originally a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is located at 5658 Main Street near Mill Street. The building was dedicated in 1871 and then offered to the Village of Williamsville for one dollar in 1976.
This gem is now used to host numerous Village events that include concerts, plays, movies, meetings and others. In addition, it houses a Village Museum on the 2nd floor that displays relics and pieces of Village history which is open to the public the 3rd Sunday of each month.
The meeting house, having been renovated to comply with its designation on The National Register of Historic Places, can be rented for weddings, speaking engagements and other gatherings at an affordable rate. For questions or rental information and rates, contact Village Hall at 632-4120.
