Garrison Park Wading Pool

The Garrison Park wading pool opened on Friday, June 21, 2024, and will be open through late August. The wading pool is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm. Hours are dependent on weather and availability of pool attendants. If you see the American flag posted at the pool shed, the wading pool is open!

The wading pool is located in Garrison Park, at the corner of Garrison Road and Park Drive. Besides the wading pool, park facilities include a playground, several picnic tables, a sandbox, and a basketball court. There is not restroom in this park, but there is a port-a-john. There is an open-air gazebo that is open to the public unless it is being used by the Town of Amherst Recreation Department’s Summer Program or it is rented. Parking is on the public streets surrounding the park.
