The Williamsville Village Board held a brief meeting on March 23 regarding three matters: Approval of the March 9 meeting minutes, approval of payroll and transfers, and approval of scheduling a public hearing regarding the 2020-21 village budget.
Due to COVID-19 preventive measures and increased social distancing efforts requested by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the state Department of Health and the Erie County Department of Health, the meeting was closed to the public and media.
The board agreed to hold a public hearing on the proposed budget on Monday, April 13.
Details regarding the attendance format for the public hearing are planned to be available by Friday, April 3, pending any changes in state requirements or regulations.
