Village solar array production

The Village of Williamsville’s solar array has been working hard this year. So let’s do some math! According to our generation reports from our solar dashboard, our average energy produced is about 840 kWh per month. With five full-time employees at Village Hall, and LED lighting upgrades, we can assume energy usage to be anywhere between 800-1000 kWh monthly – which means our solar array basically cancels out our carbon footprint. But the environment’s not the only beneficiary, we get to pass those energy savings on to taxpayers for a better bottom-line for our entire Village.
