The Village of Williamsville is raising awareness of the purpose and functions of the HAWK signal, a pedestrian-activated device that is now operational on Main Street.
The pedestrian hybrid beacon, more commonly referred to as a “HAWK,” is derived from the phrase “High-intensity Activated crossWalK” signal. Click here for a downloadable and printable brochure regarding the HAWK signal.
