Below is a list of community runs and walks that are approved to be held within the village limits.

Organizers submit their requests to hold the events by filing permits with the Village Clerk’s Office. If approved, the permits are signed by the mayor, village administrator, and code enforcement officer. Organizers submit course maps with the permits.

All of the materials are also forwarded to the Amherst Police Department for their review. Police will be at the events to monitor traffic control. Additionally, as part of receiving the permit, organizers must provide advanced notification of the event to any residents and businesses that will be impacted by the run or walk.
