Village Board seeks public input regarding state’s marijuana law, regulation

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (Oct. 20, 2021) – The Williamsville Village Board will be seeking community input next week via a public hearing regarding the state’s recently enacted Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act. The public hearing will be held during the Village Board’s next regular meeting, set for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in the auditorium at Village Hall, 5565 Main St.

Williamsville dedicates kaleidoscope-themed mural, introduces public art walk campaign

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (Sept. 17, 2021) – The Village of Williamsville on Sept. 17 officially dedicated its newest mural, “Kaleidoscope Energy Day Dreams,” an approximately 1,200-square-foot work crafted by Nicole Cherry.

Meeting House update: Village discontinues exploration of sale

Mural recognized as a ‘gift to community’ during dedication ceremony

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (Oct. 15, 2020) – The Village of Williamsville on Oct. 14 officially dedicated its first piece of community art – a 99-foot wide by 17-foot high floral-themed mural created by Chris Piontkowski of Buffalo. The mural is titled “A Butterfly’s View of the Garden.”

Village temporarily waives tent permit fees, extends expiration date for outdoor seating

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (Oct. 13, 2020) – As a way to further assist village businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village Board on Oct. 13 unanimously approved temporarily waiving fees associated with tent permits. In September, the board agreed to extend the outdoor seating permit expiration date by more than three months.
